Both "100% French and 100% Armenian," Armand Pinarbasi is a seasoned entrepreneur who has built, over more than thirty years, a distinguished career in audit, financial services and business leadership across a wide range of industries.

A qualified chartered accountant, he began his career in France as an auditor and became a member of the French Institute of Chartered Accountants and Statutory Auditors. He went on to hold key positions at Grant Thornton, notably as Director and Partner for the PACA region at Grant Thornton France, and as Executive Director of International Relations at Grant Thornton International. For twelve years, he served as Managing Director of Grant Thornton Armenia, actively contributing to the modernisation of Armenia's financial sector. Since April 2022, he has served as CEO of SoftConstruct Group, an international leader in innovation technologies, overseeing more than 15 brands and 6,000 employees worldwide.

An entrepreneur at heart and deeply attached to Armenia, he is also the founder of Armenia Rose, a horticultural venture with a greenhouse of more than four hectares dedicated to producing quality roses in Fantan, Armenia.

A long-standing advocate of Franco-Armenian rapprochement, Armand Pinarbasi has made the strengthening of economic ties between the two countries a constant thread of his career. His commitment to economic diplomacy has led him to serve as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Denmark in Armenia and as a Foreign Trade Advisor for France (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France). In 2009, he was made Knight of the National Order of Merit (Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite) by the President of the French Republic, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to international economic relations.

At the head of CCIFA Armenia, Armand Pinarbasi puts his experience and his network to work towards a clear goal: to make the Chamber a true accelerator of business between France and Armenia and to support the establishment of French companies throughout the country.
