An entrepreneur and public figure from Marseille, Didier Parakian has devoted much of his career to the economic development of his region and to strengthening Franco-Armenian relations.

A former business owner, he has held major public offices, serving successively as Deputy Mayor of Marseille, Vice-President of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis and Member of Parliament. A former President of the Franco-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he is today its Honorary President, faithful to a commitment that has never wavered in the service of the Chamber and of the bond between France and Armenia.
